IT WILL RAIN  BRUNO MARZ

If you ever leave me, baby,
Leave some morphine .....................................
'Cause it would take a whole lot of medication
To realize what we used to have,
We don't have it.........................................
There's no religion that ............................................
No matter how long my knees are on the floor
Oh so keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm makin'
To keep you ....................................................
And keep you from walkin' out the door.
'Cause there'll be no sunlight
If I ........................................................
There'll be no clear skies
If I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same
If you .......................................................
Everyday, it will rain, rain, rain
I'll never be your mother's favorite
Your daddy can't even ............................................
Oooh if I was in their shoes, I'd be doing the same thing
Sayin' there goes my little girl
Walkin' with that troublesome guy
But they're just afraid of something they can't.............................................
Oooh but little darlin' watch me change their minds
Yea for you I'll try I'll try I'll try I'll try
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll make you mine
'Cause there'll be .................................................
If I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies
If I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same
If you walk away
Everyday it will ........................................................
Oh don't just ...............................................................
Don't just say goodbye
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll ..........................................................

PRE INTERMEDIATE AND INTERMEDIATE

Katya: Hello, I'm Katya from Bulgaria.
Ayumi: Hello, I'm Ayumi from Brazil.
Katya: And the question is how did you learn English? Well, how did you learn English, Ayumi?
Ayumi: OK. I actually started from junior high but I was like, I have to admit that I was really, really bad in English. I was even reading like very mooch, very much, like very mooch, like I was reading as like the Brazilian way. So I actually had to put a tutor teacher to teach me like every twice a week and somehow she helped me a lot.
Katya: For me, well I always had a lot of, I was really interested in learning English well but on the other hand when I went to high school, I decided to go to a foreign language high school so I was forced every day up to three hours of English and then I had a lot of homework and my teacher was very good actually. She was very, making me study a lot every day because I wanted to prove her that I'm actually good at English. She had that way of making students really study hard and I tried to impress her because she was very cool and she was very funny and she wouldn't let us talk in Bulgarian so it was very strict sometimes.
Ayumi: Ah, that's very good.
Katya: Yeah. And then I learned a lot also when I went to university.
Ayumi: Yeah, yeah, university helps us a lot.
Katya: Yeah.

He was driving home. He couldn't wait to get home. He was hungry. He hadn't eaten in eight hours. Eight hours ago he had eaten two hot dogs. The hot dogs were delicious. He had put lots of mustard, onions, and relish on the hot dogs. They were so delicious. He got home. He walked upstairs. He walked into his apartment. He opened his refrigerator. He took a package out of the refrigerator. It was a package of hot dogs. He took two hot dogs out of the package. He put them into the microwave. He took mustard, onions, and relish out of his refrigerator. He grabbed two hot dog buns. He was ready to eat two more delicious hot dogs!

PRE INTERMEDIATE AND INTERMEDIATE
http://www.elllo.org/english/Games/G058-Park.htm

Hi, this is Todd, and today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite places. It's a park and it's called Park for 21st Century and it's right by my house.
Now one thing I love about this park is it's ideal for running. It has a dirt track that goes around the park, and because the track is dirt it's really soft on your knees, so you can jog for a long time and your legs don't get tired or they don't feel any pain, so I really enjoy the dirt path.
Another nice thing about the park, is that it has wide-open grassy areas that are great for sports, so in the middle it has these grassy fields, and you can play soccer or baseball or maybe badminton. You often see children running around on the weekends and that's really nice. I don't like it when parks ban sports, they don't allow people to play sports in the middle. I never think that's a good idea.
The park is also really educational. It has a garden in the middle, and when I say garden, I don't mean the type of garden that has flowers. It has a garden that actually grows food, so they grow onions and lettuce and tomatoes and things like that and they get local school kids to come in and tend to the gardens and they use it for educational projects, and then they also have senior citizens that live in the area that come and help the kids grow the produce.
Another educational tool they have is there's a lake in the middle, and I think they use the lake for many things, but one of the things they use it for is to generate fog. The lake has some type of machine that when they turn it on it actually creates fog, and it looks like a big cloud just sits over the entire lake, so that's always pretty cool. They don't turn it on too often but when they do it's pretty impressive to see.
The best thing about the park though is that it has these old thatched houses that are recreations of how people lived hundreds of years ago. So in this forested area up on a hill by the park, they have these old homes or just ancient dwellings that people used to live in hundreds of years ago, and if you go up there, there is a guide, and the guide will tell you about the history of the native people that lived in the area hundreds of years ago and what they ate ad so forth.
Lastly, one thing you can do at the park is you can go and you can have a picnic. They have picnic benches all around the park and you can bring your family or your friends and bring some food. As for as I know, you can't cook in the park. I've never seen a barbeque pit, but I do see lots of people there on the weekend having food with their family, so that's kind of nice.
And lastly if you just want to come and relax, one beautiful thing they have at the park is they have an actual flower garden, with flowers, many types of flowers of all types of colors and they put seated benches that you can sit on and and maybe read a book in the middle of the flowers, and that's always a really nice way to relax.
And that's it. That's my favorite place. It's called park for the 21st Century. What about you and where you live? Do you have a park? Where do you like to go?

TRAFFIC

Hi, my name is Nadia and my question today is what is traffic like in your area?

I live in a medium sized city so I would say the traffic here is about like most other medium sized cities. It's a very pedestrian friendly city. People walk everywhere so just like in other cities you have to watch out for pedestrians, motor cyclists and bicyclists. And just like in other cities in the world it's a bit unruly sometimes, some people drive really, really fast and others really slow, really slow and the lines in the road tend to be more of a suggestion rather than an actual rule.

I'm a security guard in a big department store in central São Paulo. It's not a bad job, but sometimes it can be a bit boring. If somebody tries to steal something from the store, an alarm goes off and I have to chase them down the street. I like that part of my job, but the rest of the time, I just have to stand near the door and watch people. That's not much fun.

Sandra Rosa is very beautiful, young, and successful. She's a famous actress. She's also very rich. Her house near the beach is big and beautiful, and her car is very expensive. Her fans love her. But is she happy?

Sandra says, "yeah, I'm young, rich, beautiful, and famous. People think rich people are happy. That's not always true!"

Sandra's brother, Mike, is her manager. He says, "Sandra is only 18. She enjoys acting and entertaining people. But she's not happy. She doesn't like being famous."

"It's true," Sandra says. "I'm never alone. Reporters are everywhere. Wherever I go, they're there. They're outside my house all the time!"

BÁSICO 1

Before I got married, I worked for a large company. I was a secretary. Now I'm a housewife. I don't like it when people say, "Oh, so you don't work" or "You're really lucky. I'd like to stay at home all day". They don't understand I'm very busy all day. I get up before my husband to fix breakfast for him and the children. Then I take my son Henrique to school. I have another son, Miguel, who is four, so I look after him during the day. I do the laundry, I do the shopping, I do the cleaning, I do the cooking. It's a very difficult job.

INTERMEDIATE

Todd: Michael, this is a beautiful home.
Mike: Yeah, we've lived here for about twelve years and it's too big for us now.
Todd: Really. It's pretty big.
Mike: Well, yeah, I mean, it's got four bedrooms and it's got this big living room area and dining room area, and I've got two kids and both of them are in college now, so they don't live here anymore. (Oh) So my wife and I are thinking about, you know, moving to a smaller house.
Todd: Oh, that makes sense. Well, so where are you going to move?
Mike: Well, this area is called Walnut Creek, it's in the East Bay of San Francisco, and we want to move into an area that's in the Berkeley Hills. It's called Orinda.
Todd: Oh, yeah. That's nice.
Mike: Oh, it's very nice. I mean it's a little more inconvenient, and it's not as convenient as here (Yeah) but it's a little more, there's more privacy, and there's more nature, you know more like old established trees and hills, and a little quieter, and so all those things appeal to us, so we're looking. It's not easy to find a right place but we're, actually today we're gonna meet a realtor, and we're going to be looking at some houses that are available and see if you like any of them.
Todd: You know, actually, I've been thinking about getting a house. I'm kind of getting up there in age. What is the process of buying a house? Like how do you go about it?
Mike: Well the first step to find a place is you, generally you have to work with a realtor, somebody who has access to homes that are for sale, and then you sort of look through the listings and you find ones that you like, that you can afford, and then you visit with the realtor, and say you find a house that you like, like there is one that we're going to visit today that we think we like and we're going to check it out again. After we visit we make an offer sheet, we draw an offer sheet, that says how much we're willing to pay for the house, and the owner looks over the offer sheet. They never meet us directly, they meet only through their (the realtor) the realtors talk to each other. The buyer and the seller never actually talk to each other directly, and in this case, the house is going to have multiple offers. Many people will want this house.
Todd: OK
Mike: So they're not going to look at the offers until next week, and say five or ten people bid on it, they're probably going to take the one, the person who offers the most money for it, so it's competitive.
Todd: That is a tough situation.
Mike: Yeah, so sometimes you'll find a house that you love, and you can afford, but somebody outbids you. Somebody bids more for the house than you do and you lose it, and you have to keep looking so it can take weeks of months.
Todd: Wow, well
Mike: To find the house you want.
Todd: Sounds tough. Good luck.
Mike: Thanks a lot

INDONESIA VIDEO

ith a plethora of different ethnic groups and religions, a lovely climate and a beautiful natural habitat, there’s no wonder Indonesia continues drawing tourists. However the country’s culture is something that visitors should take in: from native traditional folk dances, to hand-crafted artwork, to religious sites and even the regional cuisine, Indonesia’s culture is truly unique. The varied architecture in Indonesia is something worth seeing. Some more traditional buildings feature sloped roofs and are built on stilts, while others feature external influences. The food is similarly influenced, with flavors from all over. In this video, WatchMojo.com learns more about the culture of Indonesia.
