In my home country, Germany, I think the best holiday is Christmas. Christmas season is amazing. We have many markets especially for Christmas. Christmastime normally comes with a lot of snow and an amazing atmosphere. My mom makes cookies, and we have lots of friends and family over to our house, so it's a wonderful time.

I'm from the U.S., so I would say the best holiday would be maybe Thanksgiving, although there are some aspects of that holiday that I don't like. I don't like the overeating, but I do like the fact that families get together and talk about reasons why they're thankfulfor being together and for having family.

The best festival in Australia, or in Tasmania, is the Taste of Tasmania. This festival happens every summer, and during this festival, there's lots of food. Places from right around Australia get their food and take it all to Tasmania, so you get the best flavors, the best aromas, the best primary products, all come to Tasmania, and the food festival is Amazing. You can eat there for one week, and you still wouldn't try all the food available. Also, there's lots of music. There's lots of festival events, such as comedians come and perform, and bands come in just to give interviews about themselves. Also, it's right on the water so many people come just to watch the ocean and enjoy the countryside, and festival atmosphere. It's really an impressive event.
