Hi. My name is Mike. I'm from Canada and the question is are people safe drivers in my country? Well, it's tough to generalize for a whole country of people and although Canada only has thirty million people, that's a lot of people to generalize. So I have to say for the most part, people are quite safe drivers but you do sometimes run into people who are unsafe and, of course, you get people who get very angry on the road and they have some road rage. It's very understandable to be frustrated while driving, especially if you're driving under pressure and you're late but I have to say that road rage could be very dangerous and I would advise to steer away from that.

Maria: Not that good. I had two relationships by now and both of them ended after me going somewhere. Maria: I figure if it's a very, like if the relationship is very, it's very passionate or you've been going on for a long time because both of my relationships were under one year I think. The first one was one year and the second one was half a year. So if we're used to staying together then I think you can work it out. I'm just too impatient.

Hi, I'm Antoine from France, and I'm going to talk about six things you have do and see if you come to my country, and if you go to Southwest of France, to Basque country. So, first thing, I think is that you have to come during summer because there are a lot of activities in summer.

So first thing to do is like just going to the beach, just to chill, just to get a good tan. After that, you can learn how to surf because it's a really big sport, very famous sport in France, and it's quite funny to try to catch some waves and just be in the water, and that's quite good.

The third thing is there's a really big event in summer in my part of France in Bayonne. It is the name of the city. It's called the party of Bayonne, Fêtes de Bayonne. It's the fifth biggest party in the world. Like the first one is the Carnival of Rio. The second one is the Octoberfest in Germany, and during that party there is like almost two million people coming there, just to have some funny times, to party, to drink, and I think that's a really cool event.

After this, you can go to watch what we call the corridor. It's an entertaining events coming from Spain, but it's really famous in my part of France. It's a fight between a man and a bull, and at the end most of the time, the men kill the bulls and that's really typical, and I think you have to see it.

After you can listen to some Basque music, cause in Basque country we have our own language, so we have like very traditional songs and it's always I think interesting to discover new language and new music.

And finally, we also have traditional sports. It's called pelota basque. It's kind of a mix between tennis and squash, because you're playing in front of a big wall, and yeah, I think definitely have to see this because it's really, really famous in the Basque country.

 Rainy Day!
Nydja talks about what she like to do on a rainy day.
Hi, this is Nydja and I'm from the United States. I'd like to tell you about six things that I enjoy doing on a rainy day.One of the things I enjoy doing on a rainy day is reading. I like to read books on a rainy day because when it's gloomy outside, a good book can brighten my mood. One of my favorite books to read on a rainy day would be Jane Eyre.
One of the other things, I enjoy doing on a rainy day is going over to my friend's house or having them come over to my house, and we just go outside and sit on the porch. We talk about what's been going on in our lives and maybe have some hot tea or cocoa to warm us up.
Some of the other things that we do on a rainy day is we go out to the movies and sometimes we spend the entire day out there. We'll find two or three movies we really want to see, maybe long movies and just spend the who day at the theater.
Sometimes, when it's raining you don't want to go outside, so I tend to stay in and redecorate my house. Move all the furniture around. Rehang pictures that I haven't had up in awhile. Just change what's going on inside since I can't change the rain.
Sometimes because it's not too bad on the roads, I like to go for long drives on backroads that aren't too busy and just see the rain outside and to take in all the scenery.
The last thing that I enjoy doing on a rainy day would have to be baking a warm meal, maybe a cake or a roast. Something that would really warm up the house get rid of all the cold.

Well, I recently bought a new bike about three months ago and sadly enough I don't often ride my bike because I'm really busy with work. Mike: Yeah. yeah. We met a long time ago. We've been married a lot of years, now.
Todd: How did you meet actually?
Mike: Oh, gosh, we back when we were both students, at Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona, and I had volunteered to be one of the tour guides for new students, foreign students who just coming in for that school year, and it was the end of August, and it was very steamy, a very hot day, and I remember I met the students, there were maybe four or five of them at the Student Union for this walking orientation tour of the campus. It's a beautiful campus, by the way, and so, you know, I remember she was sitting on this bench and I went and, you know, she smiled at me and I smiled at her, and there was some kind of spark.
Todd: Yeah, yeah, like a connection.
Mike: There was a connection. There was a connection there, and I, you know, we went on this walking tour of the campus and when we were you done, you know, I kind of reluctantly, sort of said goodbye to her and the rest of the group, and you know, kind of said, see you around, and I think the next day even, she went found out who I was and where I worked and she dropped in my office.
Todd: Wow, that's pretty cool. That's pretty romantic.
Mike: It was very cool. Very romantic. You know the funny thing is, that particular bench, where we met, on our anniversary, 20th anniversary, we went back to the campus (no way) where we met and we took a picture of ourselves on the same bench because this is where we first met.

Mike: But we sort of approach that with a kind of humor and flexibility so I think that's what makes our relationship work is that we got that kind of agreement.
Todd: So you think that's the key to any successful marriage?

Hello, my name is Aiko, I'm from Japan and my question is have you raised an animal and my answer is yes. I have raised quite a few animals actually. I had a bird and hamster and dogs but my strongest memories with my pets are from my very young days. I merely kept insects and amphibians because when I was a child I suffered from asthma and I wasn't allowed to have any furry animals for quite a long time. I enjoyed observing the insects' habit. For example, whilst I kept quite a few crickets, one cricket loved watermelon. He didn't eat anything but watermelon and another one loved cabbage.
I was also into what I called categorization. I collected wood lice and then I separated females from males and another example is I collected tadpoles and I put the tadpoles with tails together. I really enjoyed my days with my small animals but my Mum certainly did not. One day I decorated my shoulders with caterpillars. They were really big, fat and colorful and beautiful but my Mum found this very gross and it made her scream.

Hey, my name is Daniel and I'm from Chile and the question is should children be allowed to use social media? Well, there's a whole dilemma and there's a whole debate about it and I get the point. I know it's very risky because you don't really know who is on the other side and, you know, it might seem, like to children it might seem like there's a very friendly person but at the end it might be something kind of tricky. So if you take that point, I mean kids shouldn't be allowed to use social media. But on the other hand, I think it's better if they do because it's not, the problem is not about social media itself. I think it's because the problem is about how parents raise their children and what values they teach to them so I think if children are raised properly with like strong values, there's no problem towards social media. I think social media is as risky or as good as any other thing that we have now so I should focus a bit more on how parents raise children.

Hello. My name is Olga. I'm from Mexico. The question is how do you keep in touch with your 




family? Well, I always use the cell phone because it's the easiest way to call anyone, my dad, my


 mom, my brother and sister. But when I am away then I use internet of course like Facebook. 


For example, like my brother and my sister they have Facebook accounts so I can actually send 


her, send them, messages any time. Well, to my grandparents or my uncle and aunts, I usually 


use Skype. It's actually very easy to call them to their phones and then for my mom she knows 


how to use a computer really well so I always email her and with my dad he actually likes to use 


the video to call me, to call me on my phone so we actually use Skype or Facetime all the time.

The first thing I'm going to talk about is my family using social media and, you know, I usually talk to my brother on Facebook or, you know, we'll post or tweet to each other just little things we're doing during the day. It's kind of more casual than email so it's kind of more relaxed. You don't feel the pressure of having to write in complete sentences and watching your grammar and I don't know what it is about the format that let's you sort of be a little more intimate with people than you would in say a formal, in a letter or email format. So, yeah, my family and I do use social media a lot like Facebook. My mother doesn't use it so much. I think older people are maybe more reluctant to share stuff on the internet but as for my brother and I, yeah, we always, we always use social media and we really like it. Thanks very much.
